I have been told by numerous people that I have to begin to actually use this blog. I will attempt to create an entry at least once per week! Whew!
Last weekend my mom and dad brought the gang to WI Dells for a fun filled - adventureous weekend. It was awesome! Brayden had so much fun - I didn't know what we should be holding him back on. Nolan was more hesitant. He has to do things on his own time! I will add some pictures of our mini-vacation soon! We also celebrated Amy and Jesse's Birthdays while having some fun! Thanks mom and dad for everything!
Tuesday - Feb 10th, our nephew Jake was released from the Denver CO Children's Hospital (Bone Marrow Transplant Unit) and brought to Brents Place - a transistional recovery home. It was suggested by one of his nurses that he should ride his mountain bike out of the hospital..and he did!! Take a peak at his journal and pictures at www.caringbridge.com/visit/jakekehret
Jake was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia in mid-May 2008 after months of feeling very ill. He has been strong during this hurdle requiring several life changes including a brief delay with his passion for life "my conquering of mountains in Colorado, but when I get my transplant behind me and I'm in full recovery.....Look out!"
